DEFAULT INFORMATION
The original monastery on this site was built in the 15th century, as the endowment of Jovan Branković.
Under the Tsar’ s decree of the 18th century, the Središte Monastery along with several other Monasteries of the then Vršac Eparchy ceased to exist.
Re – establishment of this Monastery was initiated in 1995, with the blessing of the His Grace G. Hrizostom Bishop of Banat.
The Church was dedicated to the Holy Wisdom.
