Ivanjica – an air spa

This area is one of the largest in Serbia.

On 468 m above sea level Ivanjica is surrounded by the mountains Golija – which is under protection of UNESCO as natural bio – sphere reservation and a natural park – then Javor, Mucanj, Malic and Cemernica.

Since intersected by numerous crystal clear rivers and brooks, with plenty of woods, greens and untouched nature as well as healthy food, this region represents a real oasis for tourists.

There are also good communications. Two motor – ways lead from Belgrade to Ivanjica, one passing through Arilje, the other one Sjenica with ” Ibarska magistrala ” and through Nova Varoš with Montenegro and Adriatic coast as well.

Therefore Ivanjica represents an important tourist destination, an exclusive ecology oasis as well as a bussines and a cultural center of this part of  Serbia.

Village Devići

It is located at the place where the rivers Brusnička reka and Studenica meet, 36 km of Ivanjica, 740 metres above the sea – level. The village is well – known for its locals hospitability.

Guests can visit nearby Studenica Monastery, go fishing in the rivers abounding with brown trout, collect medical herbs and mushrooms or have a great time at exceptionally attractive tourist spot – the falls on the Izubra river.

Accommodation in 1st and 2nd category rooms is available in local houses.

Village Lisa

The village stands for the  originator of countryside tourism in Serbia and has been a tourist resort for more than 30 years.

The vicinity of  Hadži – Prodan’ s cave ( Hadži – Prodanove pećine ) – the tourist and arcaeological site, walks in the beautiful scenery, collecting medical herbs and many other contents make the village very appealing to holiday – makers.

The vicinity of Mountain Mučanj ( 1534 m above sea level ) , Church Bela Crkva and springs called Savine Vode ( widely believed to have healing properties ) and other spots make this village very attractive for the growing number of tourists.

Its 30 years long tradition of the tourist resort, know by the slogan ” Breathe in  Mučanj ” is best represented by Obradović family and their boarding house ” Obradović “ , situated in the very heart of the village.
