Spa has five sources of mineral water, which is among the warmest in the country. The main source provide the 7 liters of water per second and temperature is 77 ° C. Other sources have different capacities and temperature ( from 36 – 75 ° C) . Water of Jošanička spa belongs to the group hiperterm, containing sodium, potassium, calcium, hidrocarbonate, sulfate and fluoride. They are used in medicinal purposes, drinking in combination with hydro-chinesetherapy and medication. Treatment is implemented in the health station, which has modern equipment, spa bathroom with ten baths and smaller pool.

The name of this site has given Duke Živojin Mišić since 1895 year. Later this name was given over the hill which extends from the platform known as ” St. Crkvina Prokopija”.

 On the heavenly chairs is founded the earlychristian basilica with double apse made of stone, such as gravel, broken and cutten …

Monastery Black River is located on the slopes of Mokra Gora.

Church was dedicated to St. Archangel Mihail.

It is not known the exact year, not even the century, when the monastery Black River was built. Some scientists considered that it was built on the beginning of XIII century, seconds thinks that was built in the first half of XIV century, and others that it was built on the end of XV century or on the beginning XVI century . . .

The excavations has found that the complex of the old town Ras consists of three locations: Fortress on place Gradina, cave with monastery St. Archangel under the fortress and the settlement Pazarište ( Trgovište ) , where is located church from the XII or XIII century.

All this refers on possibility that this place here was signification spiritual centre in XII century and it was connected with a great Župan Stefan Nemanja.

However, in the town of Ras lies a lot of mystery from the past of Serbian people…

According to architectural concept the church belongs to the classical solutions Raška architectural school. It was constructed with elements that indicate the way of building Romance. In the interior of the church is saved extremely valuable gallery serbian wall painting.

Frescoes in the naos and altar area are among the most important achievements of that time in Europe.
