Petrovčić

Petrovčić is a little village bordering the territory of municipality Pećinci, away from Surčin 10 km and 30 km from Belgrade.
Petrovčić has about 2500 inhabitants.

In this area of the Middle Ages were Tolinci and Sakule settlements.

In Petrovčić was born Dušan Vukasović, pre­war teacher, commander of the 36th Vojvodina Division and national hero who was killed 1945th in the Srem front.

Village Feast is Ivandan ( 8. 7. ).

Petrovčić can be rea­ched by bus line 604, which moves from the block of 44th.
