Progar

Progar is the most western village territory of Belgrade, also the most western vil­lage of municipality Surčin.
From Surčin is 18 km away and 38 km from Belgrade.
Has about 2000 inhabitants.

With its vege­tation and preserved nature is one of the biggest tourist poten­tial of the municipality Surčin. In the environment of the village is a large area under the forest: the forest Bojčin, Crni Lug and Jasen forest of whose total area is 2200 ha.

Village Feast is Petrovdan ( 12. 7. ).
