The entrance of the cave is located at an altitude of 1075 m, and it is 155 m above the riverbed of the Uvac.
Contrary to the Ušac cave system and Tubića cave, it has no visible exit.

With 617 m of explored tunnels, this cave ends in a lake which becomes a siphon and prevents further passage through the tunnel.

Located around 400 m from the entrance, on the left side, is a hydrologically active tunnel which brings water into the main tunnel.

A brook disappears into the earth in this cave, and the villagers have named it Rijeka. At the time of the year when the snow melts or there is heavy rainfall and much water enters the cave, it often becomes flooded.

The entrance of the cave is located at an altitude of 1020 m, and its exit is a spring, adjacent to the very riverbed of the Uvac, at an altitude of 980 m.

The cave consists of several tunnels whose total length is 1929 m. The main tunnel is 798 m long and it occasionally transverses the brook of Maljevo which then disappears in the hydrologically stilu active lower layers.

Since the construction of the dam on the River Uvac, the exit of this cave is often flooded with the waters of the reservoir lake.

The cave abounds in decorations. It is among the speleological objects that are easier to visit and it could be interesting for tourist tours.

The specific characteristic of this canyon is the wilderness, the raw nature, ruggedness, its depth ( occasionally even more than 300 m) , with sides that are at right angles with the riverbed.

Above the rocky riverbed of the Mileševka rises the tall and supple relic plant – Pančić’ s spruce. The fragrant smelling Balkan Daphne also grows here, as well as the cultivated chestnut and the black pine tree.

Another symbol of the wilderness in this canyon is the Griffon Vulture, which nests in Orlovača cave of the Mileševka canyon.

At the exit from the canyon, beneath the village of Hisardžik, are the ruins of the medieval town of Mileševac.

The natural beauty and the rare characteristics of the Mileševka canyon can be found at a distance of 8 km from Prijepolje or 2 – 2, 5 km northeast of the Monastery of Mileševa. The canyon is the dream of every lover of mountain tourism, adventurers in search of untouched nature. This unique area is unknown to most residents of Serbia.

The river’ s biggest gorge can be found between Dobrakovo and Brodarevo.

The Lim flows over a distance of 174 m and passes through Andrijevica, Berane, Bijelo Polje, Prijepolje, Priboj and Rudo. It ends its course below Medvedja, at an altitude of 299 m, as a tributary of the River Drina.

The River Lim is interesting in that significant tourist potentials are present in a small area. Gorges and canyons, high rocks of grey limestone, waterfalls, springs and fountainheads, caves and lovely valleys, habitats of plant and animal species alternate along its course.

The Lim, with its vast waters, favorble temperature ( around 20°C in summer ), and wealth of different fish species, provides favorable conditions for recreation kayaking, log floating and rafting. Since the year 2000, when it became part of the rafting offer, the Lim has attracted large numbers of tourists who love a river that poses a challenge.

Petrovac in Velika Župa is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Lim. Every year, at the end of July, a diving competition is held on this river, entitled Petrovac on the Lim. Competitors dive off stepp rocks rising 12 or 16 m above the water into a 7 m deep whirlpool. In addition to the Petrovac beach, there are also other, smaller beaches along the Lim banks.

The main road running through Prijepolje, the potentials of its fish fund, the religious, cultural and historical monuments along this river, the slalom and downhill ski trails, are the tourist potentials of the River Lim.

The mountain is not covered in forests, its surface is rolling but bare. When the weather is fine, it is bathed in sunlight, which gave the mountain its name, as it resembles the face of a young girl that is lit up with joy ( ozaren – Ozren ). There are many springs from which several brooks flow toward Uvac and Dubočica, the right tributaries of the Lim.

The rare natural beauty of Jadovnik and Ozren – the canyons, gorges, peaks, caves, abundant forest fruit, attract nature lovers.

On Mt Ozren, the rare and fragrant yew tree grows in the hamlet of Točilovo.

The highest peak is Katunić ( 1,734 m ).

The mountain area of Jadovnik is characterized by spacious pastures, meadows and forests. Time seems to have stopped in Jadovnik in these villages, in the huts and pens where shepherds keep their cattle in the summers and where the women prepare high quality cheese and cream from the milk.

From the heights of Jadovnik, there is a breathtaking view. One can almost reach out and touch Prokletije, Bjelasica, Durmitor, Ljubišnja, Golija, and Zlatibor.

This mountain is magnificent during every season in the year. In summer, fragrant flowers and the green grass give it a particular grace and beauty. The meadows and fields are decorated with spruce, juniper and beech. The most beautiful exhibition that nature can provide keeps appearing again and again under the skies over Jadovnik. The air is clean and intoxicating. The beauty of Jadovnik must be seen to be believed – the storms, the mists and snows, the rain and sun, the winds and fogs.

In winter, the snow sometimes piles up to over 3 m deep, and one should then venture on Jadovnik only in the company of someone who knows the mountain well.

Accommodation capacities can be found in the villages below Jadovnik’ s slopes ( Sopotnica, Vodice, Stranjana, Kaćevo, Gvozd ).

Here, the river has cut a narrow canyon into the limestone for a length of 2 km. In certain places, the sides are over 300 m high.

In the canyon itself, the Bučevka flows into the Sutjeska. The steep sides of the canyon are framed by the mountain peaks of Ožalj ( 1228 m ) and Projić ( 1223 m ) which abound in coniferous forests.

A road has been traced through the canyon, and there is also an old stone bridge whose structure fully merges with the surrounding landscape.

There is plenty of fish in the river, mostly trout and grayling.
The habitat of an endemic specie of yew is also located nearby.

The road hugging the river, the old stone bridge, rocky cliffs with sparse vegetation, a strong epic landscape, dramatic, intense, is worthy of much attention and a certain degree of protection.

The access to the cave was cleared, and the central area of the cave with cave ornaments presents a sacral and monumental space.

Two stone sarcophaguses with a Crucifixion are testimony to an unpleasant event that happened during the Hadži – Prodan Uprising in 1814. People took shelter in this cave from the Turks. However, they were found, and Turks put some straw and branches at the entrance and set it on fire, so that all the people inside the cave choked from kad ( smoke ). Since that time the place has been called Kadjenica ( smoke burnt ).

Up to 1940, the bones lay in the cave, covered with dust and ashes. That year the bones were collected and buried in the stone sarcophaguses. The access to the cave and the space around its entrance were cleared again in 1991.
